So it is march, a big month for me, as before the month ends I will celebrate my 32nd birthday! It's going to be a momentous occasion as I will ring in the big day with my favorite movie of all time! DARKMAN. I am currently counting down to that night and have hope some close friends will be able to join me and have some fun.
I almost forgot I had a little VOX world out in the internets realm...it's funny coming back here and see that I talked about Roller Skating back in March and I'm actually in a mood to go roller skating again...strange little coincidences...how many blogs is too many blogs? how many social networks is too many networks? it's fun though and i don't think I can get enough...before i know it 2009 will be done...but I can't worry about that now...one day at a time,...yup yup yup
Another day at work and things are fine and dandy, I'm a little tired after a roller skate adventure last night. Went to one rink and couldn't get in due to some police activities and ran to another and skated to the song XANADU. Tonight it's time for grindhouse double feature!!! Can't wait. Wish work was done already!
This friday two good movies come out, 3:10 to YUMA and SHOOT 'EM UP.
The Host is a movie to see on the big screen. It's a Korean Monster movie focusing on a dysfunctional family dealing with a giant monster from the River. (Never throw old Formaldehyde down the drain when it leads to the river, no matter how big the river may be!) A young girl has been taken and her family is trying to come to the rescue, battling the doctors, police, and gov't. One second you get some laughs with the family bickering and then there's a good scare. Scares that jump you from your seat! It's fun to watch a film that's got that old fashioned monster feel, the chases and battles keep you hooked and the characters are all fun and unusual, you'll be rooting for them the whole time. Now go and catch The Host if you can and enjoy the ride!
I had a job that was supposed to be "the perfect job." Well, it turned out not so perfect and today I quit. Whew, I feel so relieved and happy. Now it's back to the job hunt I go, so we'll see what I find this time around.
It's funny, I also forgot about my vox thing. I am pondering whether or not to keep it. read more
